Founder & CEO
Mohammad oversees investment strategy, underwriting, and portfolio management. He brings deep experience in real estate finance, due diligence, and risk management.

Zulikha Hussain - Lady Z
Co-founder & President
Zulikha leads WaZu Capital with a focus on strategic direction, investor relations, and operational discipline. Her background spans real estate development, capital markets, and business operations.

Mohammad Talib Hussain (Wali)
Operations Manager
- Oversee day-to-day operations across all real estate assets (development, construction, property management, hospitality, or mixed-use).
- Ensure smooth coordination between internal teams and external partners (brokers, engineers, contractors, attorneys).
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) across projects
- Track operating budgets, development budgets, and cash flows across properties and entities.
- Monitor operating expenses (OPEX) and capital expenditures (CAPEX).
- Support land development and construction activities from entitlement through delivery.
- Track project schedules, milestones, and critical path items
- Education: BS in Business and Finance from McComb School of Business, University of Texas at Austin

Brandon Sebirumbi
VP of Operations
- Spearhead investor relationship management and facilitate onboarding processes, serving as a trusted liaison for equity partners to ensure strategic alignment and cultivate long-term trust.
- Orchestrate day-to-day corporate operations, managing task execution, critical milestones, and deadline compliance across Wazu Capital’s portfolio.
- Conduct process audits to eliminate bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and execute value-add projects.
- Leverage expertise in private market investments and real estate asset management to optimize property performance and drive strategic growth.
- Serve as a Board Member for the East Africa Business Network (EABN), fostering commercial, investment, and economic bridges between the United States and the East Africa Region.
- Background: Founder and Managing Partner of Diaspora Family Office; also leads strategic growth and asset management for Alta Ventana.
